Importance of paper prototype
Paper prototypes give you a hard copy of what your game can look like. It helps you to visualize what you want your video game to look like and do.

Mini Game
After slowly struggling through a few tough days of mini game designing today there was a breakthrough in B 28. We finally figured out how to make the little bunny move, and to top it off put a score up…it was a pretty great day of advancement in game design today!

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust 'em.

Blog on Blog
I chose to do my blog v. blog on Nick Harrison of the English class. His blog is well styled and well lasyed out, but has many grammar, spelling, and punctuation problems. I think after combing through his own blog he will be able to see many of these problems and be able to fix them.

Topic
I am having trouble figuring out what topics I wish to choose for my game. I don't want to rush into anything because I feel like if I end up picking one just to have one, I wont want to put any effort into it and I will have better results picking a well thought out topic.

Playing to learn
Today we played multiple games to look into how programmers can design games to be both educational and fun. I found two games I realy enjoyed, Climate Change, where your the president of a European nation and you have to cut CO2 emmisions. Another game I found interesting is 3rd World Farming, where you have to take control of a farming family and have to pick crops, take care of livestock, etc. to help them make it through the years.
